Can You Think Yourself Thin?

Is it even possible? You bet it is! It’s amazing how our thoughts about ourselves ultimately affect who we are.

What do you see when you look in the mirror? Do you see your positive points? Maybe beautiful hair, eyes, nicely shaped legs and arms? Or do you see the negatives? Maybe your waist is larger than you want or your arms jiggle when you move.

But is that all you are? Arms that jiggle when you wave? Of course not! You have so much to offer but much of what you have to offer disappears because you only see a never changing picture of yourself.

When I met my husband I wore a size 6. And I loved how I felt. But I wasn’t very healthy. I was depressed, I didn’t eat at all and I was always too tired to exercise. So even though I looked good, I really was miserable.

As I got healthier emotionally I started eating more and worked my way up to my “normal” size 10. I have to say it bothered me a bit but last year my husband bought me a denim skirt for Christmas. It was exactly like the one I wore when I met him. Even the size! He still saw me as a size 6. It never even crossed his mind that I was larger. When I brought it up his answer was that I was beautiful when we met and had only gotten more so each day. WOW!

After that I started looking more at my good points. And the more that I appreciated them, the better I ate. And the better I ate, the more I wanted to move, and stretch and appreciate my body.

I’ve learned now that if I wake up every morning and spend about 5 minutes visualizing the good me…the one that’s healthy and fit, drinks water instead of soft drinks and who enjoys fruits and vegetables, then that’s the person I am that day.

Try it for a week. Every day spend some time in the morning visualizing yourself healthy, enjoying exercise, or simple walks and enjoying eating the right foods. You’ll be absolutely amazed at the results. You’ll not only think yourself thin….but you’ll think yourself into a totally new you.

My $7 Secret

This time of year it seems like most of my efforts are wholly directed to my spring rental market campaign but when I saw this report I knew I just had to pass it on!

I've actually seen it here and there for a couple of weeks but today I finally paid
attention to a report called $7 Secrets.

In this report, which costs $7, the author shows how he earns a FORTUNE
selling $7 products, and how and why he does it.

After doing a little research, I've found that some of the top Internet Marketers
in the industry are using this plan again and again to make $$$$.

So I'm going to do a little experiment. Willie Crawford (the 1st marketer I heard raving about the program) is doing his own experiment. "Generate $100,000.00 in income with the $7 report."

My experiment is slightly smaller....I'm shooting for $1000.00!

You can get your own copy of this report here: $7 Secrets

I picked $1000 as a goal because I think it's a nice target for most beginners to shoot for. You'd better believe that as soon as I hit that $1000....I'm going for a bigger target.

I hope you'll join me and start your own experiment. It'll be a great way for you to jump into internet marketing.

What is “The Secret” and will it Work for Me?

What is “The Secret” and will it Work for Me?

About 6 months ago I purchased the “Release Technique” online. I was at a point where my whole life was basically reduced to “Am I going to make enough money today to pay my bills?” And this is a lousy way to live your life. Because there are a whole lot of things more important than money. Well, unless you do not have any, because then it becomes VERY important!

The release technique worked well. Actually my husband and I listened to it before going to bed each night. We slept better and definitely were a little less stressed than we were before we started using it. But, I wanted more.

So, I started researching the technique online and I ran across “The Law of Attraction” which, of course, led me to “The Secret”.

After watching “The Secret” I was hooked! It is actually kind of interesting that for the past few years when my sales company was not bring in the required sales, we found that if I left town for a few days, sales started flowing in the door. I always felt that the negative stressful feelings running through me at the time prohibited good things from happening. Once I was gone, so was the negative and sales would start pouring in the door.

The idea behind “The Secret”, “The Law of Attraction” and “The Release Technique” follows the same guideline. I cannot say it as well as they do, but basically they teach you that 1) we’re all part of the same universal energy and 2) like attracts like.

So, if you worry all the time and are constantly stressing that everything bad always seems to happen to you then you are sending a message to the universe that it should be sending bad things your way. On the other hand, if you constantly expect good things to happen, then that is exactly what the universe will send you.

Have you ever met someone that seems to be a “lightening rod” for trouble? Talk to them for awhile and listen to what they say. You will probably hear a lot of doom and gloom. If you can get these people to throw out some positive feelings, they will be in for a big change!

The hardest thing I have found though is to think positive when the world is weighing you down. The answer for me is to think positive thoughts….about thinking positive! Basically the affirmation I repeat to myself over and over is “Thank you for my positive thoughts and feelings. I am feeling relaxed and happy all day today and I am thankful for all the good things in my life.” If you just concentrate on feeling good, then more and more good things will follow.

By the way, after basically giving up that my husband was going to get the job he wanted, one that would drastically improve our lifestyle, I decided for one day to just quit stressing about bills and concentrate on feeling good about all the positives in my life. At 9am I started saying the above affirmation and and at 3pm he got the call offering him the job!

So, does it work? What do you have to lose? Try it, because the worst that can happen is that you’ll feel better, all day long. And the best that can happen? You can achieve all your dreams and desires!

Should You Try to Save Money on the Cost of Your Plastic Surgery?

Should you try to save money on the cost of your tummy tuck? Or on any plastic surgery for that matter? Of course you should: as long as you can do it without sacrificing the quality and safety of your surgery. And this can be done by doing lots of research and homework.

The average cost of a tummy tuck in the United States will run $6000-$8000. It will vary from state to state with the most expensive generally being on the East Coast. But the prices can vary from surgeon to surgeon even in a smaller city. In Indianapolis, for instance, there can be a difference of $1000 between two surgeons that are only 2 blocks apart. Does this mean one is better than another? Not necessarily and it also does not mean that the posted price is the one you will actually be paying.

The total cost of your surgery should include the surgeon’s fee, anesthesia fee, and operating room fee. It should also include the implant fee if you are having breast augmentation.

Did you know that you can save quite a bit of money by combining procedures? So, if you are going to get a tummy tuck this year and considering liposuction next year, you can save quite a bit by doing both at once. Or you might want to combine breast augmentation with your tummy tuck.

Many surgeons will negotiate fees if you just ask. Or they will do extra procedures without additional charge. One of the things you will want to negotiate is the cost for any revisions that might need to be done down the road. This can save you a huge amount of money if there is something you are not quite happy with.

Do You Want A Tummy Tuck? Ask These Questions First

Getting a tummy tuck is a pretty major decision. One that the average woman doesn't really think of making. But in a day when plastic surgery is becoming more and more common, and is certainly available for everyone, most women will at least consider it at some point in their life.

Keep in mind that a tummy tuck isn't a small procedure. It's major surgery that includes anesthesia and a fairly long recovery. So it's not something to consider lightly.

What can a tummy tuck do? If you've lost quite a bit of weight a tummy tuck is a great way to remove and tighten that excess skin. It's also good for tightening abdominal muscles that have been stretched due to childbirth. If you have excess skin, you're going to get a better result with a tummy tuck than you will with liposuction. Liposuction works for smaller pockets of fat but it cannot take care of excess hanging skin.

There are things that can't be improved with a tummy tuck. Even though many tummy tucks are combined with liposuction, nothing can take care of intra-abdominal fat except for diet and exercise. What is intra-abdominal fat? It's fat that centers around your abdominal organs. It's the most dangerous kind of fat and not matter what kind of surgical procedure you're considering, you'll still need to diet and exercise to reduce this fat that is most dangerous to your health.

Recovery from a tummy tuck is fairly lengthy. You'll be down flat on your back for at least two weeks, and then moving slowly for a good 4 weeks after that. Although your body may look better, the final results won't be known for up to a year. You'll have some swelling and discomfort for almost 6 months. But, most women will say that they feel great about how they look after about the 3rd week.

If you're considering a tummy tuck, you might want to ask yourself these questions before making your decision.

Can I afford this? It can cost $8000.00 and up although there are numerous financing plans available if you would rather make payments than pay up front.

Can I take 6 weeks to rest? Even though you can probably start working a bit earlier it's tough. It took me three weeks before I really felt like doing much, and a full six before I started to get back to normal.

Will the scar bother me? The trade off for a flat tummy is a scar all the way across your abdomen. I have to admit that my scar bothers me, but it's still worth it.

How supportive will my husband/partner be? You'll need help and a lot of it for the first couple of weeks.

Am I comfortable telling people what I'm doing? Some women are, some aren't, but you need to know what you're going to say before you do this.

If you've decided to go ahead with the surgery, do your homework. Visit numerous surgeons until you find the one that's right for you. Ask as many questions as you can and make sure you can call them or email with more questions if you need to before you make your decision.

How long will they expect you to be in bed? Off work?
Do they offer financing?
Do they have "before and after" pictures of other surgeries?
What kind of results can you expect?
What is the recovery process?
Will you stay in the hospital overnight?
What kind of help will you need at home?

Get the idea? The more informed you are, the better off you'll be. And you'll be on the way to a brand new You! Deciding to get my tummy tuck was one of the best decisions I've ever made. I went from a size 14 to a size 10 in 3 months. If you'd like more information on tummy tucks and other plastic surgeries, you can get it here: www.chooseplasticsurgery.com
